About Me

Welcome to www.naturalhealthvault.com and thanks for dropping by.

My name is Fred Musazi Mugone, a  48 year old average guy with a background in biological sciences and human resources management from Nairobi, Kenya.

I'm the webmaster of this site. That's me on the right. It's my hope that your visit to this site will be well worth your time.

Why this site, you may ask. Well, I created this website to highlight the very many benefits of following a natural health lifestyle, diet, using natural health medicine and sharing what works to help you live a longer, healthier and more productive life.

The Journey

During my younger years I wasn't really interested in natural health at all. In my ignorance, at the time, I considered it the preserve of the primitive, uneducated and backward folk (I would later come to find out that I was very wrong).

Well, that all changed 21 years ago (1993 to be precise. I was 27 years of age at the time). It's often said that nothing in life is permanent and opportunities that lead to change come in all shapes and sizes. We just don't see them most of the time. 1993 was one of those times for me.

From 1987 I had been battling with a very "wild" case of chronic allergic rhinitis. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the condition, it can best be described as being in a constant state of suffering from a nasty cold. Very uncomfortable. Very irritating.

I tried all sorts of conventional medicines: Anti histamines, steroidal medicines... the works. Nothing worked! The most I got was some temporary relief that never really lasted long... and soon it would be back to the uncomfortable and irritating itchy eyes, blocked and running nose.

The Transformation

I thought to myself and figured that there must be a solution somewhere, somehow. This "hell on earth" could not be allowed to go on.

After doing a bit of my own "research," I found out about and tried acupuncture. The relief I felt was, without exaggerating, simply amazing. I almost felt as though I had died and gone to heaven. That experience triggered and ignited in me an intense interest in alternative medicine.

Herbal medicine interested me the most because of its rich, detailed and documented history that has stood the test of time.

I've been reading up on medicinal herbs for the last 15 years or so. What I found out, and the enthusiasm it generated in me, is what led me to create this website.  Thanks also to:

  • Sell Health: A leader in the anti-aging, sexual health, skin care, and general health industry that provides products designed to make you feel more youthful, attractive, and vibrant (without the use of harmful prescription drugs) for the excellent range of natural health products featured on this site.

and...

  • SBI (Site Build It): Who provided all the website creation and marketing tools I needed to make this site, and get the word out.

Natural Health Aficionado

I'm not a doctor. I'm simply someone who has personally experienced the awesome benefits of, and is passionate about, natural health medicine. A natural health aficionado, if you will, who would like to share with others what works and what can help them lead a healthier, more productive and happier life.

It's my very strong belief that if you follow a natural health lifestyle, diet and use natural herbal medicine regularly, over a protracted period of time, you will have the same kind of enthusiasm for it as I do.

Thank you for taking the time to visit this page. Feel free to contact me with any of your thoughts or queries regarding this site. I look forward to reading your feedback and comments.

I'd like to end with this quote from one of the wisest men in human history:

It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver - Mahatma Gandhi
